AI video production uses generative AI tools to create commercials, brand films and short dramas, with a filmmaker responsible for the story, the look and the pacing. For a US brand it can reduce the need to film scenes that are expensive or impractical to shoot, and it can produce several versions of one film for different channels. I direct that work remotely from Malaysia.

Malaysia is 12 to 13 hours ahead of the US East Coast and 15 to 16 hours ahead of the West Coast, depending on daylight saving. In practice, a 9:00 am call in New York is 9:00 or 10:00 pm the same day in Malaysia, and a 9:00 am call in Los Angeles falls around midnight or 1:00 am for me. Which hours we use is something we agree at the start.
Because the work is done online, the gap is a scheduling question rather than a barrier. Briefs, references, review links and final files are shared through the same online tools, and written feedback can be sent at any hour of your day.
We plan around the time difference from the first call, so that your calendar is not the bottleneck. Delivery dates depend on the project and are agreed with you at the start.

How do reviews work across the time difference?
Malaysia is 12 to 13 hours ahead of the East Coast and 15 to 16 hours ahead of the West Coast. Reviews are done online, and the hours for calls are agreed at the start so that they suit your working day as well as mine.
Do you offer AI video production for brands in the United States?
Yes. What is the difference between AI-generated and AI-assisted video?
AI-generated (AIGC) footage is created with generative AI tools. AI-assisted video is produced in a conventional way and uses AI in editing and post-production. A project can use either or combine both, and I describe which is which. Not every video in my portfolio is AI-generated.
Are you a filmmaker or an AI video producer?
